Ongoing Projects.

  • This research employs hyperaccumulated plants to enhance the hydraulic properties of coarse-textured sandy desert soil. The objective is to modify the characteristics of sandy soil to increase its capacity for retaining available water, thereby facilitating improved root growth for more effective plantation. Hyperaccumulated plants play a crucial role in this study, serving as both a binding agent and a carbon source. Additionally, they contribute to carbon sequestration, which is essential for mitigating climate change. The implications of our findings could potentially support future endeavors aimed at transforming deserts into arable farmlands..
  • Biodegradation of carbon-relevant materials like plastic using deferent micro-organisms

Project in Collaboration.

Cancer-Associated Initiatives like CRDB: Progress in cancer research has been propelled by open-access cancer databases and tools. The era of genomics and extensive data has underscored the importance of collaboration and data exchange to effectively harness this wealth of new information. The evolution of contemporary genomic technologies like microarrays, proteomics, transcriptomics, and gene sequencing has yielded an immense volume of cancer-related data. Consequently, a primary hurdle in handling these multi-omics cancer datasets has been the creation and implementation of electronic databases for the purpose of storing and managing this substantial knowledge influx.
